After singing with such legendary Philadelphia groups as The Delfonics and The Stylistics, Holman finally struck personal gold in early 70’s with his timeless love song, "Hey There Lonely Girl", which peaked at 2 in the U.S and number 4 in the UK. The song inspired Smokey Robinson to dub Holman, "The Man With The Voice Of An Angel."
